    Unhappy Halloween at Disneyland Question!!

Hey everyone! I'm an AP at DLR and I wanted to go today (Friday 10/01/10) to DLR. I realized that the Disneyland closes at 7pm today for their Halloween festivities. So are they closing the park and then re-opening it? Or do people who are going for the Trick or Treat given bracelets? From what I've read, there are only certain places in the park that are specifically for the event and so does that mean the rest of the park will be open?

Anyways, DCA will still be open till 10 so no biggy! Thanks everyone!

If you don't have a ticket to the party they won't let you stay in Disneyland after 7. I'm not sure how they are going to go about this, but they will get all non party ticket holders out of the park.

Thought about going to tonight's first Halloween party, but decided to hold off for a bit. Being as it's the first time, at least in my memory, where there's going to be a mixture of allowed guests and non-allowed at DLR, as opposed to WDW where it's fairly common, thought it best to see a "shakedown cruise" first to see how it's all handled. My concern is not so much about non-party guests being confused by being told they have to exit the Park, but those non-party guests who try to "job" the system and stay in.

The park closes at 7 and stays close to all APs unless you have a separate ticket

disneyland did an excelent job last night sweeping the regular guest out I don't think theres any way you of stayed in the park. Security and cast members were checking wristbands everywhere.

Sounds good. No upset or indignant guests that you were aware of?

It seemed to go well for them, Disney keeping party guests in.

ETA: I do remember some young people over at DCA's guest relations who weren't very happy about it, but they have passes...

I went and visited the park last Friday during the opening of Electronica. Every person that is going for the Trick or Treat had a green wristband. When you enter the park, you actually enter from the right hand side oft he ticket stalls. There you are greeted by a CM. There is a great opportunity for a few photo ops - the disney design of flowers has been closed off for trick or treat guests & there is a very cool BOO-Mickey before walking under the railroad bridge!
