Cool Firework viewing from OUTSIDE the park....

What are some good areas to view the show from outside the park? May be out of the park before fireworks Sunday night.. but I'm a geek and want to see them still. Any suggestions? Preferably where I'm lined up with the castle so they are in the right place.. because I surely have Remember! choreographed in my head and it going backwards would mess with my mind hahaha

    thanks guys!
Geez... i feel like such the n00b having to ask questions. 36 hours to go!!!!! :-D

The esplanade is a decent place to see fireworks outside of the park.

When not in the parks though I think Paradise Pier pool area is pretty good, they pipe in the music there, too.

Mickey and Friends isn't free but fireworks are good from there too only thing is no audio.

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

I had already considered queuing Remember up on ipod... but fear it might scare the people I'm with!! LOL Since i'll be in the park earlier in the day, I M&F might be perfect since i'll have the pass
I've only been INSIDE of it during the fireworks... I remember texting Drew and telling him it felt and sounded like Armageddon!! LOL

You want to feel Armageddon...Seriously, be in the parking garage backstage at DLR, the one right next to the Team Disney building. The fireworks are set off literally right near it. My god...like being in a war zone.

We were thinking about one night walking to the overpass to the East of DL; where we could watch the fireworks up close. Anybody tried this yet?
