Hmm, I know there was a whole piece that Al wrote about it. I wonder if it was removed from the article? I remember he even put a link to the video on Youtube noting that you had to be signed in and verified over 18 to watch it.
Strange. Anybody else read it?Joey AKA "dlfreak"

His write-up's actually in this article:
miceage.micechat.com/mc/mc022212a.htmYes, our world has indeed become a world of motion. We have engineered marvels that take us swiftly over land and sea, through the air, and into space itself. And still bolder and better ideas are yet to come. Ideas that will fulfill our age old dream to be free. Free in mind. Free in spirit. Free to follow the distant star of our ancestors to a brighter tomorrow. - World of Motion (1982-1996)

Sounds like yet another "entitled" AP that obviously doesn't need a front of the line pass. If you're able to throw hay makers, you're more than capable of standing your butt in line.

02-23-2012 01:20 PM #17I wonder what Al expects Disney to trains regular CMs to do in this case. Start fighting with the guest? Personally, I think standing back and keep everybody else around the violent person safe is probably the best practice. As Al pointed out, the situation only lasted a few minutes - if this person went on a rampage for an hour throughout the park, I can see more concern. The video also sheds light on just how inadequate Disney’s current training is for scenarios like this. The Attractions Cast Members involved on the video, one of whom was the Lead for that E Ticket ride, go out of their way to stand back and let the man become violent, just as they are trained to do.
This is the only part of his article that rubs me the wrong way. Either his facts aren't accurate or Disney should review their policies. What is the difference between a security CM and regular CM, if they have no tools to deal with... security issues? The only possible reason I can think of, is Anaheim's police who are usually readily available. However, I still can't believe that Disney doesn't equipment guards with at least pepper spray. The second issue involves the use of the pepper spray. That is not something Disney provides for its Security Cast Members, nor does it encourage its use.Refurb Mike

Does anyone know where the man (or the others) got drunk, was it in the park i.e. Bayside Brews, or Club 33, or was it outside the park. I am wondering because I detest Bayside Brews greatly. (I am kind of okay with having alcohol available for purchase in the parks but not right in the middle of the park such as Bayside Brews but more discreet and secretive about it such as Club 33.)
