Well, my 10-year old daughter is talking me into going to this:
Live 2 Dance in the Downtown Disney District with ‘Shake It Up’! « Disney Parks Blog
How crazy do you think it will be? Only 200 will be allowed to get autographs. The cds go on sale at 8am. How early do you think people are going to be lining up?

Well, here's my trip report of sorts of my day. Just got home! Ugh!
We arrived at DTD at 7:30am. I wasn't willing to get there any earlier than that. Unfortunately, we get there and they tell us the line had just been closed. They said we were allowed to wait at the edge of the stage that was already set up and there was a small chance they would still sign autographs for those people if time allowed. I was ready to turn around and go home but my daughter and her two friends we brought wanted to stick it out and wait.

At 8:00am they started to allow those that had been in line (since 6am) to go in the Studio Disney 365 store and either purchase a cd for $15.98 or one of two t-shirt designs that were $24.95 each. Around that time the Radio Disney DJ started playing music, and they walked through the crowd asking trivia questions and giving away pencils. That helped pass the time, and the girls enjoyed that. They had other activities for the kids such as teaching them dances and letting them request songs.
Around 10:00am, the cast member that had given us the bad news about the line being closed, came over to us and told us to go get in the back of the line. He said there was no guarantee, but there may be enough vouchers left for us to get in. We went in that line and about 30 agonizing minutes later, we got to go into the store and purchase the cds and shirts. You were given a voucher for an autograph only if you bought one of those items. The girls each bought one so we got three vouchers. I was gonna be the photographer for them anyway. As you can see from the pic, we got one of the last ones. They were numbered through 210 I believe.

So, finally we had some time to do what we wanted rather than standing there anymore. We had to be back at noon to see the interview with Zendaya and Bella Thorne so we grabbed some Wetzel's and did some shopping.
At one point, we looked up at the balconies of the Grand Californian and saw this:
Apparently Buzz Lightyear and Rapunzel were having a rendezvous on the balcony! lol
Around 11am Radio Disney came out again and started asking more trivia questions and gave away a ton of prizes. The girls got stickers, a wipe-off board, a Radio Disney lanyard. They also gave away cds, posters, backpacks, etc. Close to noon, DJ Jake from Radio Disney came onstage and introduced the choreographer of Shake It Up. Rosero McCoy I think? Here's a pic of them on stage:

He taught the crowd a couple dance moves. Around 12:15, Bella and Zendaya came out. Jake interviewed them for about 15 minutes. Sorry the pics are so far away but by this point I needed time away from the crowd and sitting down. haha

After they went back inside, I thought I better go ask how soon we needed to line up. Even tho our spot was reserved, I wanted to make sure they didn't say we were too late. A cast member said we should get in line about 12:45 so that's what we did. We walked down the walkway between Sephora and Studio Disney 365, turned left and walked and walked all the way to the emergency exit gate that is next to World of Disney. That's were we found our place between #195 and #199! I felt like it was gonna take FOREVER! We took turns getting snacks, going to the restroom, etc. They were due to come back out at 1:00. It was 1:30 before Bella and Zendaya came out to start signing! I hoped after all this waiting, they would still honor the vouchers and stay till the whole line got through!
Around 2:50 we were getting very close to the front of the line. Cast members came down the line to tell us that they needed to leave soon so could no longer pose for pictures, and we needed to just hurry through and get the autographs! They said they don't have time to pose for pics but we could still snap pics as they signed. Once my daughter and her friends, got up there, I tried my best to snap some pictures but it was so annoying that there were cast members standing there telling them to hurry so I couldn't get good pictures with them in the way!

In the end, the girls said it was TOTALLY worth it so that's all that matters!

Oh it was dlfreak. lol
Just remember, if you thought I did a good reporting job here, feel free to let me borrow your press pass next time there is a "tween" event. I'd be happy to report on it for you. Maybe I wouldn't have to stand around waiting for 8 hours.
