I am getting married next year and recently discovered that Disney has this awesome fairy tale weddings. I met with the Fairy Tale Weddings Rep and got some details. Has anyone else done this or gone to one? My only problem so far with it is that the ceremony has to be outside . We have a choice of three different spots. One is in the back garden at the Calfornia Hotel and the one we picked is in the Rose Garden at the Disneyland Hotel. It is beautiful, but I am worried about weather issues. I just can't believe Disney does not have some kind of Fairy Tale looking chapel for their ceremonies.

Re: Disney Fairy Tale Weddings
I would like to also add that they offer the coolest things. For example you can have Cinderella's Crystal Coach with the white horses and Footmen which the bride drives up in....very expensive though, about $1700 or so. And in the reception hall, you can have a big castle backdrop with the lights etc.... the reception hall looks very elegant and FairyTale like. They basically give you a true Cinderella Wedding. Its very expensive though....we figured ours will be around $20,000 and we are trying to cut things down. You also have the choice of having Disney Characters of your choice to be at your wedding etc.....
Last but not least , they have Trumpeters that annnounce your arrival to your guests......all of these are dressed in costume for the full effect. I can't wait!!

Re: Disney Fairy Tale Weddings
I heard somewhere that Disneyland doesnt do weddings. I know for a fact though that Walt Disney World Does (I was stuck on the monorail by one of the hotels and a bride and groom came out while people threw rice) I also saw a travel channel thing about WDW weddings.

We looked into it, but it just didn't work out. I was a little annoyed too by the fact that they charge per person for parking instead of per car.

If you don't get married then you don't have to worry about what who has.
If you get too close, you might get bitten!
