Tour of the Grand Villa at the Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel and Spa

The Vacation as You Wish event at Disney's Grand Californian hotel was a DVC event for members to encourage them to add-on more points. The Wishmeister above was a comedic relief who occasionally interrupted the show to give away goodies.

The presentation included a look at concept art and video (nothing we haven't seen online already) of the new Treehouse Villas, the new Hawaii Resort at Ko'Olina, and the new Disney Dream Cruise ship.

After the event there was a dessert party with a few characters in the mix, too! Before and after the event, the Grand Villa was open for guests to tour.

Video Tour of the Grand Villa

A look at the foyer and front entrance of the Grand Villa suite.

We'll start our photo tour in the bedroom to the left which features to Queen beds.

Immediately to the left, when you enter the suite, is a small bathroom with shower.

Immediately when you enter the suite, to the front and a bit to the left, is the kitchen and dining room.

    [break]

This grand father clock sits in the main living room. The doorway on the right leads to the dining room, the kitchen is behind the clock. To your left in this shot is the main entrance into the suite.

    Temperature controls in the suite.

Everything you need to pack lite!

The living room has a giant floor to ceiling window that looks out onto the pool area.

Of course, there is a giant television with DVD player.

    Beautiful craftsman style throughout.

A look up at the second-story overhang.

When you enter the suite, if you hang a right you'll come into the master bedroom.

Hard to see here but the mirror has a television embedded behind the glass.

    [break]

Let's go upstairs? You can see the master bedroom there just off to the left. To the right of this picture is the entrance and to the left is the living room.

The stairs lead up to the recreation room which has a billiard table.

There is an entrance to the second floor of the suite, as well. (Technically the 5th floor of the hotel). The stairs are immediately behind the couch to lead back down to the first floor of the suite.

    The balcony overhang.

You can see down into the living room...

...or out the window into the pool area. There's only one other Grand Villa at the GCH. It has just about the same layout but the view opens out into Paradise Pier.

To the left and right of the recreation room are two more bedrooms.

    Let's head back downstairs.

We conclude the tour with a look at some of the views from the balconies.

An awesome panorama view. Click to enlarge!

    THE END!

I so wish I could stay there. I wish I could see the one that looks onto Paradise Pier. That must look amazing especially for World of Color. Thanks for the pictures Joey!!!

The layout is identical. I have pictures of it when we did the grand opening. Grand Opening Ceremony and Preview of the Villas at the Grand Californian Hotel The view is amazing facing the pier.
