I've planned my trip from Dec 6 thru 14. Is it busy during this week? Is there anyway to get a special deal at the Grand Californian? Does anyone know what rides are closed at this time?
Any information would be appreciated.

I wouldnt think the park would be that busy during that time of the year since Winter Break is still 1 to 2 weeks off. You should probably try to hit all the major rides during the beginning part of the week as the park fills up Fri Sat and Sun.

As for the rehab schedule there other threads here that list upcoming closings but u should probably check disneyland.com or even call the resort closer to your visit to see whats open/closed...Of course BTMRR and Space will be closed but they try to keep big draw attractions open bcuz of the crowds that time of the year. Make sure to hit HMH and IASW Holiday.

Unless your a ap i doubt you'll find discounts for the GC especially for the time of the year your going....that place is just plain EXPENSIVE (ie CHA-Ching)

I think that's one of the best times of year to go.It might be a good idea to get an annual pass if you're going to be at dlr for the whole week.It'll give you a discount at the hotels,meals in the park,and allow you to park hop.
