    I need some suggestions

    Hello everyone,
I am new to the board and I am a big fan of Disneyland. I haven't been there in awhile and that was when I was with my mom, dad, sister and brothers. But now I am married and my wife and I are going to Disneyland for our first anniversary. This will be my first time to California Adventure, the first time that I have ever been on the Indian Jones Adventure ride, and the first time I have been to the new Tomorrowland. I know what there is to do that is fun, but is there anything to do there that is romantic? Any suggestions will be appreciated. I am really looking for restaurants that I could call ahead and make reservation for or something along those lines.

Also where would be the best place to get tickets, besides ebay and at the gate?

    Thanks a lot.

Romantic is what you make it. Frst spot, Blue Bayou,a little pricey but great ambiance. POC is great for smooching. Lots of darkness and not annoying. Night time at fantasmic. Standing in the crowd cuddling is like being in the middle of Times Square on New Years Eve. The hub is a great spot too, quiet and relaxed. It is also a great place for smooching after the last showing of Fantasmic. The best thing though is the end of the day when it is dark. As the park closes, everyone rushes fr the gates. Hang back a little, wait til the streets are clear and you walk down YOUR Main Street.. The lights are beautiful, your wife will be too and so will you.

As VideoMan suggested, definatly do Blue Bayou, if you need the number just PM me and I'll get it to you. Watching Fantasmic! from the Disney Gallery balcony is great albiet a little expensive. If you need the number for that too, just PM me, it's $40 per person. Other then that, dark rides at night are always romantic.

Taking a ride on the non-moving sun wheel at night. If you can be the only two in the car of course, Watching the Electrical parade snuggled on a blanket, dinner at a nice restaurant (although I can not stand Blue Bayou)...

Romantic? Try Thunder Mountain, the Tower of Terror, and California Screamin'. Those work really well.

    ^ Now that is romance!!

I think being in Disneyland with the person you love is romantic in and of itself. Its a place that gives you such a wonderful feeling and just being with someone you love, in the magical place makes you feel amazing. Nighttime obviously is the best, because there is nothing like the lights on Main Street. Watching the fireworks together is also awesome...

I would recommend Blue Bayou, as it has great ambiance, but I noticed when I was there in December, although I loved it, it was quite noisy. If you want a quiet place, that might not be the best place to go.

Gotta go with Blue Bayou. As a matter of fact, I would suggest going there as soon as you arrive and making a reservation (they go quick!) When your time comes up, tell them that you'd like to wait for a table by the water. It may take longer, but in my book it's definately worth the wait.

I know my wife loves it when, on Splash Mountain, I incessantly bug her to "Flash" the camera. HIGH ROMANCE. You can thank me later.

I think the Snow White wishing well to the right (east) of the castle is romantic, especially at night.

If you want a REALLY nice romantic dinner, how 'bout the Nappa Rose at the Grand Californian? Blue Bayou is great too, and a bit less expensive. Maybe you can ask for a table right next to the water...
