June 8-12 Crowds?

What will the crowds be like June 8-12? I haven't been to DL in years, and this will be my kids first time. They are 6 & 7 years old. My Mom and I are taking them. Any suggestions on how not to wear ourselves out? I have never been to California Adventure. Any tips there will be appreciated too.

by that time summer is in full swing,Id wager that the crowds would be pretty heavy,especially since the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror will be open starting May5th.

I was going to go on my Birthday on June 2nd, but then thought twice about that considering how hot it might be. I decided to go to the beach instead Youll still have fun, but just be prepared for long lines (utilize fastpass) and the heat (take breaks, use sunscreen). I would love to go in summer if I had the ability to do it, but as of now, I cannot take the time off during the summer. It seems they always have more things going on, and the hours are longer so you have more Disney time. Because the hours are longer, you can take a break during the hottest (and busiest) time of the day. This is a great time to swim, or take a nap, or get a bite to eat outside of the park. Its also a great time if you dont want to go back to the hotel to take a stroll into DTD, and get in some retail therapy.

Most of all, just be prepared for crowds and heat and knowing that you will have a great time. I went during Christmas last year, and I was prepared for the crowds, so I didnt mind it. Besides, being your first trip in a few years, you will enjoy yourself! Have fun!!
