I Need non-Disney owned Hotel Ideas

    Which are the best ??

Where can I find good prices ??

We will be there April 6th, 2005 for two nights-
planning on Downtown Disney the evening of the 6th with
    DCA & Disneyland the 7th & 8th-

Looking for clean hotel with easy walk to the parks.

I've heard good things about Ho Jo's - Is it the best non-Disney choice?
    Any other suggestions?

HoJo's and Candy Cane Inn are my favorites.

Another vote for HoJo's! Clean and close.

We're never at the hotel anyway, so that's all we need.

...I stayed at the Travelodge at the Park...twas ok... and cheap (I stayed for $25/night.. but that was a staff disc. Reg price is like $56). Canada has nicer Travelodges! BUT i did my indepth i work in a hotel so i know what to look for check.. and didn't have many issues with the cleanliness

BUT... i must say... if your spending lots of time in your hotel room... you shouldn't be at Disneyland then... clean is the main thing.. even if they surroundings aren't desireble

Residence Inn Anaheim Resort is brand new... and while it isn't a walking distance away, they DO have a free shuttle. They have incredible suites there for pretty amazing prices. And because they are on the other side of the street, it's only 13% sales tax.

I've stayed at Castle Inn a couple of times and liked it, but don't know what the prices are like at present. I have a reservation at Parkside Inn and Suites next month. It's only $34 through Orbitz.com and the pics looked nice enough.

Cool Re: I Need non-Disney owned Hotel Ideas

We have stayed at The Holiday Inn At The Park a couple of times. The prices are good, it's clean, and it's about a 10 min. walk to the park. The best feature is the 24hr. pool,it has a great view of the fireworks(the hotel is located right behind Toontown)and you can close the parks every night and still go for a swim.

I like to sleep in my truck in the ihop parking lot.
