Ok, me and the hubby are going to DL and maybe DCA for the day on Sunday, July 10, which happens to be his birthday. I'm racking my brain, trying to think of something special I can do for him. The birthday sticker from City Hall is a given, but since we go there just about every month, it's difficult to think of what I can do to make it an extra special Disney day for him. Does anyone have any suggestions or can you relay memorable things that you've done for your birthday at the happiest place on earth? ANYTHING would be helpful.![]()
Thanks!!!

Why not splurge and get a hotel room at the Disneyland hotel or the Grand Californian, make some reservations at one of the DtD restaurants?

The dinner reservations would work (any suggestions on which restaurant?) but the hotel won't - we've got 2 kids and a babysitter for the day, but not overnight.

Catal or the one inside the GCH. I know that Michael and a few others on here would be able to help you out food wise (if it were up to me, I would go to ESPN Zone)

What else, what else...how far do you live from the resort? I love doing all kinds of surprise things for my husband...I'm just trying to think...MouseInfo Moderator

Well, cool. Michael or anyone else who knows restaurants - feel free to help me out here! I'm usually the person who pigs out at Red Rockett's but I've never gone "upscale" with any of the hotel restaurants.
I live a little over 2 hours north of the resort.
I love to surprise my husband too, but I haven't been able to for quite a while. He's been through some rough and stressful stuff lately with his job and I want to make his birthday as special as I can for him. Thanks for your help cinder!I'm only wearing black till they make something darker...

I surprised my wife with a Backlot tour of MK one time and it was a pretty easy secret to keep. She knew we were going to the park, but didn't know I had made special arrangements. If you haven't done it already, backlot tours are great birthday surprises.
