How do you know when you can get another FP. I thought that it was only after your return time had expired? Am I mistaken? I am missing the strategy!

What goin2 said, it says in the FastPass.

In the center of the FastPass will be the time (say 12:00PM-1:00PM) that the FP can be used. Ignore the end time as it is totally not enforced. You CAN'T use a FP BEFORE the start, but CAN use it AFTER the end.

If you're getting the FP within 2 hours of the start time, then you can get your next FP at the start time. In the above noon-1 FP example, if getting this FP at 11:00 AM, then your next FP can be gotten at noon when the FP's start time is.

If, however, you're getting the FP more than 2 hours before the FP's start time, then the next FP can be gotten at the 2 hour point. Let's say at 11:00 AM you got to Space Mt and get a FP with a 3:00-4:00PM return time. In this case the FP will say that you can get your next FP at 1PM.... 2 hours after gettng the FP even if the return time is more than 2 hours out.

Simple? Well, let's complicate it more. Roger Rabbit ignores the return time of other attractions. So, if you got the Space Mt. FP at 11:00 with a return time of 3:00 (but can get another FP at 1), then showed up at Roger Rabbit at noon and it is passing out FPs with a 12:40 return time) and stuck in your FP, it would spit you out a FP for 12:40 and tell you that you can get your next FP at 12:40.... The "next FP at 12:40" is ONLY good for Roger Rabbit as all other machines will still enforce the 1PM from Space Mt.

Now, wonder into DCA. All DCA FP's ignore DL FPs, so even if you can't get a FP at Disneyland, you can still get a FP to Soarin' or ToT or Screamin. And, like Roger Rabbit, Grizzly is disconnected. So, after getting your Space Mt. and Roger Rabbit and Soarin' Over California FP, you can still use you Hopper/AP to get a FP for GRR. That is 4 FastPasses, and none of them yet "usable".

also with the FP it only takes one person in your group to get them, just get all the tickets in your party, and go on a mission.

also if you have a 3 year old that has a ticket, and cant RIDE Space they can certainly get YOU a fast pass. so if you have 2 small children with 2 adults you can get 4 passes for space. then you can ride to your hearts content.

in fact my brother in law just got back and they used the baby swap ALOT and they loved it because the second one gets to enter the exit, and if its a ride the older kid con do the kid can ride twice....
