Recommend A Dog Kennel Close By?
We Are Going To Have To Board Our Small Dog While We Are At Disney For 7 Days. Was Wondering If Anyone Can Recommend A Place Close By That Is Nice, But Don't Want To Pay As Much As A Hotel Room For Him! Can Anyone Help?? I've Been Looking Online, But Haven't Really Found Anything! Thanks!

Hi Skeeter! Well, first off, I'm sure I've asked you this before, but what part of Kansas? Never mind, KSU area.
Also, ok, there is a hotel around the corner, called Extended Stay America....dirt cheap, and accepts dogs! If you don't want to leave him in the room during the day, he can stay at the Disneyland Dog Kennel. I believe the rates are fairly cheap.

Disneyland has its own kennel.
from the DL web site... Indoor Kennel facilities for the DisneylandŽ Resort are located to the right of the Main Entrance of DisneylandŽ park. The Kennel is available for a charge of $15.00. Sorry, there are no facilities for overnight accommodations. |

Yes Over By Ksu! Anyway, We Already Have Booked Rooms At The Anabella. I Don't Want To Have To Run Back To Take Care Of Him Or Worry About Him Being Naughty While I'm Gone, (which He Has Never Been, But I Worry Anyway!! Lol) And For The Disney Kennels, You Have To Come Back & Take The Dogs Out For Walks, They Don't Do That. It Is Just A Cage To Put Them In, I Guess. So, I Will Check Out The Recommended Websites & See What I Come Up With!! Thanks!

Does the Anabella have accomodations for dogs, or can you keep them in your room? I'm sure if you checked with Disney, they may offer walking services for an additional fee.

I Don't know. I'll check on that. I just thought maybe someone local could reccommend one that they have used. I hate leaving him with complete strangers who I know nothing about. Thanks for your help.

I'll ask my bestfriend who lives up there, to see who (if she ever does boards) she goes through. Heck, I bet for a price you could dump your dog in her backyard.

I really love the Anabella-----I was able to get a room for $30.00 a night there and they upgraded us free of charge to a kidsuite back in DEC 2004---I'm pretty sure they have a "no pet policy". Check with some local Vet offices because they usually have boarding and they walk your pets.
