OK so Im planning on going to the DLR this summer with my cousin. Now he is gonna have surgery on his leg (football injury) a month before we go and will probablly need a wheelchair. Now my questions are:
-How much is it to rent a wheelchair, and how much is the deposit (if needed)?
-Will we be able to use the same wheelchair if we go to another park (DCA), if not do we have to pay again at that other park?
-Also, I know that the Pirates movie is suppose to be out this summer. A couple of years ago, when my cousin went, they shut the park down early for the premiere. Will they be doing the premiere for the new movie at DL again? If so when is it? Cause I plan on being at the park June 30-July 2. I don't want to put all this money into the trip then have to leave DL early, that would not be cool.
Well if anyone answer those questions, that would be nice. Well thank you! Peace!

Hey there. The wheelchair deposit is much more than the actual wheelchair rental. I think it ends up being along the lines of like 8 or 9 bucks out of your pocket once you get the deposit back.
You can go back and forth with the wheelchairs.
I don't know about the premiere.
I'm going to move this to trip planning, so more folks will be likely to answer.MouseInfo Moderator

Wheelchairs are 8 dollars with a 20 dollar deposit. With the new wheelchair rental located outside the park, I believe you can now enter both parks with the same wheelchair. If you do, you don't have to pay twice.

The premiere will be held at Disneyland. I don't think a date has been set yet, and if it has, I don't know what it is. Sometime in late June.
