Bengal BBQ and Monte Cristo Questions

I am planning a Disneyland Resort trip for mid april and I have been researching the current status of the park on this fantastic site you all have here...but there are a few lingering questions that I have.

1: Is Bengal BBQ open or not? I read something saying it had closed and reopened and something else saying it is closed. I would love clarity on this.

2: Is the Monte Cristo available somewhere since the Blue Bayou is closed? I ate it once years ago at the restaurant with Mint Juleps when the Bayou was closed, but I would love to know if it is available now or not.

3: Where is a good place to be sitting and eating to view Fantasmic? I read something about a nice place to sit, but that you have to be there about an hour before the show starts...so we were going to sit and eat before the show, just ending our meal as the show began. The only problem is that I do not remember which restaurant was named and I cannot find that info again..

1) I thought Bengal was closing after this summer. I could be wrong.
2) I think they have them at French Market. I could be wrong.
3) I think you're thinking of Frontierland's River Belle. I could be wrong.

Not sure if I was any help. I could be wrong .

Hello,

Bengal Barbeque is still open as of today, its not going to close until River Belle Terrace does, to make room for a new two story restuarant. Latest inof I have received is that it is not going down until Sept./Oct. and even that is iffy.
I don't believe you can get the Monte Cristo anywhere but Blue Bayou, sorry.

I agree with filmfreak11 I think you are thinking of River Belle Terrace.

oh thank god, I can FINALLY try the safari skewer, I thought Bengal was already closed. I thought I'd never get the chance to.

I might be making a trip down to Disneyland this summer... if i do... hopefully the BBQ wont be closed yet.

This might me my last taste of Bengal BBQ when I visit late June. I must make the best of it.

Hopefully they will add this to the new menu of the new restaurant in some manner.

The price at the Bengal is one of the best in the Park.

Just don't be in a hurry, every time I tried to get to the Bengal BBQ last week, there were 20 people in line!
