    Question Paradise Pier

Myself and my significant other are going down the weekend before Thanksgiving. We're staying at the Paradise Pier. Now this is my first time at a Disney resort hotel and the first time dealing with WDTC. So far my dealings have been good and very expedious. Now I noticed when I booked my package they didn't ask me for what type of bed I wanted, do they ask when we check in or should call and request the type of bed I want? If I do indeed call should I call now which being two weeks preceeding my arrival? Also please post any experiences staying at this hotel. Any imput will be greatly appreciated.

You can request the bed you would like but they will not guarantee it. However, the earlier you goto check-in, the better chance you will have in getting the room and the bed you would like.

I would definately call and request the kind of bedding you want and a location. Have your reservation number ready to give them so they can attatch the info in the computer. Then ask again at check in. Like they always say, they won't guarentee it but they have almost always given me what I wanted in Anaheim and Orlando.
I have only stayed here once and the stay was fine. The room is decorated in a nice neutral manner. It is not flowery which was fine with me. There are Mickey accents in the room and bathroom. The hotel is decent though not one of my favorite Disney hotels as it is sort of bland compared to most of the other ones, but it is festive enough on the outside and in it's decore. The location is fine and is an easy walk into DCA. We had a room on the 13th floor over looking the soon to open DCA. The view was fantastic. I would stay here again if a park view room was the right price.

I would call the hotel directly and ask the tell the person who answers that you have a reservation already and you would like to attatch a room location request to it. They should be able to direct you to the right person.

It's also worth calling the WDTC and having them add it to the reservation. The more places you have it indicated, and the more places you tell, the better the chances of getting what you want.
