Okay, we are planning on going down in May. We had planned on purchasing an 8 day park hopper ticket, but Disney does not offer them anymore, or the 7 day as of last week they say because of fraud on e-bay. So we need to purchase the 6-day hopper. If we upgrade to an AP on the last day, does the AP expire one year from that date or one year from the day we used our hoppers? We keep getting conflicting info from DL itself, every time I call. I even printed the live chat I had from DL.com. We are so confused!!!! We will be there for 8 days.

I'm trying to remember what they did with ours. We converted 3 day hoppers into Premium, and I 'think' they started the date from the First day the hopper was used, not when we did it.

Take a look at expedia.com.au
14-day park hopper for around $300 Australian, I think that converts to about $200 USJust because we're at war, doesn't mean we can't be civilised...

A couple of comments, the 14 day ParkHopper is ONLY available to those living in Australia and New Zealand, it is basically a 2 week pass, since the vast majority of these folks won't be coming back anytime soon. Good deal for those who live in the South Pacific, but not available to most.
OK, the OFFICIAL policy on upgrading a Multi-Day ParkHopper to an Annual Pass, the CM processing the transaction is supposed to backdate the expiration date in the AP computer, and they normally do... But I know that mistakes have happened.
So expect the expiration date of the AP to match the FIRST day of use of the ParkHopper, but there is a slight chance that you will get the date of the upgrade instead. (And don't aks for it, it will remind the CM to backdate the AP). If it happens, just count yourself lucky, but DON'T expect it!Check out my photos at http://darkbeer.smugmug.com
