So shortly after my May 2009 trip to Disneyland, I of course wanted to go back. I saw all the new things they were going to have for Halloween and with that being my favorite holiday, I got very excited. I then realized I did not have the money to go on such short notice, so my boyfriend and I agreed we would go for Halloween 2010. We of course started planning right away, but I still have a few questions:

When should we buy the tickets? I know they are sometimes only good for so long.

When we went in May, we stayed at Motel 6 Anaheim Main gate on Disney Way. It was a good hotel for the price and while we are still on a budget crunch, we intend to stay at another good neighbor hotel. I was looking at Courtyard by Marriott and was wondering if anyone had stayed there and if it was decent? It's right next to the Motel 6.

Lastly, we plan on staying for 3 days with Halloween being the 2 second day there. Any tips for parades? Shows? Special events?
