How insane of an idea would it be to go the opening weekend of Cars Land and BVS? I mean, would it really make a difference if I went a few weeks later? Convince me to go opening weekend or otherwise!

Potetntially uber insane. The Disney fan community is so connected so they are on the pulse of openings, soft openings, crowds, and such. If you're timid, just keep monitoring Twitter before you decide to go!
I will probably be there opening weekend so would be fun to ride with some MI users and get to know you guys!

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

Oh, we are definitely meeting up this summer, trust me on that!

I just REALLY want to see it opening weekend like everybody else -- but I'm afraid the trip will be limited to the usual full days of awesomeness due to insane lines everywhere for everything. I really like to exhaust myself on my trips, going from opening til end everyday, filling up full schedules, you know?

Man I am sure opening is going to be insane but if you like to exhaust yourself on your trips then I say go for it and make sure to do a trip report on it. I would love to but I think I will wait a few weeks to a month to go and I am sure it will still be uber busy.

I'm probably gonna avoid it for a while after it opens. I mean I think the craziness will continue for a few weeks, then you have the 4th of July summer crowds. Maybe the end of July/early August is when I'll make it down.

scheduled to rain that day, should be light on for crowds.

Awesome.
I wont be there for the opening, since I'm going at the end of June this summer, but I'm totally excited otherwise. If you don't mind big crowds -since I'm sure it'll be freaky crowded- Then avoid it. If you're into big crowds, then I'd say hit it up xD Knowing me, I would if I could. PS. I'm new here, so.. Hola
