I was just wondering if anyone knows if they will still be offering the 3 day park hopper passes with the 5 day admissions for the price of 3? Or if anyone has used AAA before when planning their trip and if they really felt they saved, or have more information about AAA discounts for 2004? Taking my parents with us on this trip and paying for everyone, so need to save money desperately. Thank you for any advice you could give me.
Also, I've looked into the hotel.com type websites and no one can offer me any rates for March-does anyone know how to work these websites? Am I trying to plan to early? Help!!!

Re: How to save in 2004?
You might be a little early in your planning since it is for the next calendar year. Could be you'd have better luck around December, but that's just a guess.
Try checking Expedia for rates. I got a pretty good deal for this summer which included airfare and hotel (I bought annual passes separately since we were able to go twice this summer). The package was much cheaper than I could have got by purchasing air and hotel separately. I think you can also add the park hopper tickets, but I can't remember.
You might also get a quote through disneyland.com (or Disney Travel some other way) just to give you a ballpark figure.
My sister used AAA for a Disneyland trip in recent years and seemed to get a pretty good rate. I'm not sure how it compares to what you can get through Disney Travel, but I know it was cheaper than what I got when I purchased all the parts separately.
Good luck in your search!Last edited by DisneyWeez; 08-08-2003 at 04:41 PM.

My wife and I are using AAA for our Christmas vacation and we're saving about $100.00 over Disneyland regular packages.

In fact just because I was already looking up rates at CSAA site I looked for March for 2004 for you just for an example and Howard Johnson's was showing a rate as low as $64 for part of March (I just selected random dates) for a non-smoking 2 queen bed bedroom which if you ask me isn't too bad of a price! So I'd definitely check that site out if you belong to AAA just go to www.aaa.com to start. Hope that helps a bit!

Thank you for the advice on AAA, I think I will probably join then.
Does anyone know if they will still be offering the 5 days for the price of 3 next year? This years offer expires in January.

It's likely they'll still be offering it, but as of now, there's been no offical confirmation.

I am also keeping my fingers crossed that they will be offering the buy three get five deal for 2004. I have been looking but have not found any info on deals in 2004 as of yet.

We did get a rate at the HoJo of $45 a night with an Entertainment Card. I assume this is because we have booked early.
