Check out this trailer. Looks to be really cool, like Pixar quality IMO. It's like the photo realism of Final Fantasy with a better, more engaging story.

Looks really cool. A year away, though!
Human figure animation is really improving....

Re: The Polar Express
Wow, that looks fantastic. I'm excited for that one to come out. I used to love that book. I still read it almost every year around Christmas time. I definitely will have to read it again when I go home for Thanksgiving.

Re: The Polar Express
Good trailer. I was suprised on the animation for the film. I thought it was live-action. Anyone else besides Tom Hanks gonna be in it?

Re: The Polar Express
I can't believe they wasted that beautiful animation on a dumb Christmas story with Tom Hanks.
The trailer might have been mildly entertaining if it built up to SOMETHING. It came out looking like no big deal."I don't know my future after this weekend... and I don't want to..." ~Bjork, "Big Time Sensuality"
And so I leave it with all of you: Which came out of the opened door,--the lady, or the tiger?

Re: The Polar Express
AWESOME! I too heard about this film a while back and thought it was going to be live action. Animated makes it far more surreal and amazing!
This is such a great story.

Re: The Polar Express
Tom Hanks' voiceover skills are very underwhelming, at least in that trailer. The animation was not really that great, and the composition was horrible.
I expect more from Zemeckis and Hanks. So there.

Re: The Polar Express
Wow, pretty amazing looking, but I'm not quite sure if I'm on-board (no pun intended) with this hyper-realism in CGI. I prefer animation to be more stylized. Technically awesome though.
