Garfield beats "Around the World" and "King Arthur" combined

I was reading this article on yahoo, and was shocked to see that "Garfield" has fared better than "Around the World in 80 Days" and "King Arthur" combined. For me personally, i did unfortunately go see Garfield and not the two Disney movies.

I hope Disney can turn it around in the theater.

Disney, which stands in sixth place, hit roadblocks with both "Around the World in 80 Days," which has picked up just $22.8 million to date, and "King Arthur," with $45.2 million in receipts. The studio's fortunes could improve, though, with this weekend's release of M. Night Shyamalan's suspenser "The Village."

The season also has had its share of sleepers: Fox's relatively low-budget "Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story" picked up $109.3 million and is the seventh-highest-grossing film of the summer so far, while the studio's "Garfield: The Movie," though the critics knocked it, collected $72 million.

Wow that's sad I saw Garfield and King Aruthr...Garfield sucked! I thought it would be a little good. It was the second worst movie of the year in my book
