"SAN FRANCISCO (Dow Jones) - Pixar Animation Studios said after the market closed Thursday that its second-quarter profit declined 66% from the year earlier period, when it benefited from strong sales of "Finding Nemo."
Pixar (PIXR) said it earned $12.7 million, or 10 cents a share, compared to a profit of $37.4 million, or 32 cents a share, in the year-ago period.
Revenue fell to $26.5 million from $66.3 million."

I didn't care for The Incredibles that much. I think they probably peaked with Nemo.

^I agree Jonvn,Nemo was definatly thier best.
also,as much as Id love Cars to do very well so DCA can get its E ticket,I just have my doubts. It just looks like a very blah movie.

You never know though. The thing with the Incredibles was that it was more mature than Pixar's other movies. It was funny, but not too funny, and wasn't as playful as Finding Nemo. Cars just might do well because it looks like another Toy Story. Pixar does wonders when it brings things that either are not allive or not real to life. It's more fanciful. While the Incredibles was a fantasy about super heroes, it delt more with human events like Mrs. Incredible thinking that Mr. Incredible is cheating on her.

I can't change my mind Santa Monica? after seeing Incredibles on DVD recently,(while I think its a good film),its still not as good as Nemo.I think I got caught up in the newness factor of Incredibles when it first came out, some time passed and after all is said and done I sill believe Nemo is the better film.

08-08-2005 07:34 AM #8Fair enough. Kind of like how when DCA first opened, I thought it was so great. But later on, I realized it for the cheap, crappy half-day park it actually is. Maybe one day you'll realize the same thing... so who knows?

Looks like Cars may come to save the day at DCA after all.Pixar CEO Steve Jobs said the company's next animated feature, "Cars," is nearly done, and "There's no doubt in my mind that 'Cars' is going to be one of our strongest films to date."
Just here. Nowhere.

Its not abnormal for a CEO of a company to sing the praises of its future projects,I dont think that is really any real indication of how Cars will do.What do you expect Mr jobs to say? "Cars is gonna be sucky"?

Incredibles was by far the best PIXAR film. Monsters Inc. is second, Nemo third....IMO....
