I think that Leonardo DiCaprio and Clint Eastwood are definite NO'S. Granted, Million Dollar Baby was a fabulous movie, but I think the movie itself is what made his "performance".

    Fabulous actors...

    Jack Nicholson
Johnny Depp (I think he's the Nicholson of my time)
Tom Hanks (any man who can act by himself and a volleyball gets my nod)

    Who else...who else...

Hillary Swank. I think she's just absolutely fabulous. I also enjoy Julia Roberts, but I wouldn't call her a "great actress". But I think she can act.

    Horrible actors:

Kevin Costner. Holy smokes, he is hands down the worst actor ever. The man has nothing, it's just a blank face reciting lines.
All these wanna be "actors"...Adam Sandler, the Deuce Bigalo guy...funny haha movies, but give me a break.

    You into Busby Berkley?

Good call, Depp. He manages to pull off the most bizarre, impossible acting jobs all the time.

I'm not that impressed with him. He plays the same weirdo character everytime, and its not that weird. It is hyped to be weird. I think Napoleon Dynamite was stranger than any of Depp's characters, sans Hunter Thompson in Fear and Loathing.

I think Ashton Kutcher may be one of the best actors in history. Better than the Barrymore clan.

Our lists would certainly vary: Lots of names here I would never include, but to each his own. I just dont think we have the stable of real acting talent we used to have. What we have are celebrities... not actors.

No Alec Guinness, Jack Lemon, Ingrid Bergman, Glenn Ford, Lauren Bacall. THOSE were folks who could act.
