Well is looks like the new 2002 ABC TV Line up is out. Some interesting things in the new TV schedule:
Gone are from the weekly schedule are "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire","Spin City","Philly" and "Darma & Gregg" from its schedule. "Millionaire" will return in special events, probably running several nights in a row, much like how the show started. Below are some of the shows listed this coming season:
-A remake of the series "Dragnet" on Monday nights.
-"That Was Then,"
-"8 Simple Rules for Dating My Teenage Daughter," (starring Ritter and Katey Sagal)
-"Dinotopia," a fantasy that extends the concept of dinosaurs and humans living together. This I think picks up where the mini series left off. I haven't watched it yet.
-"Less Than Perfect," a workplace comedy set at a TV network. (staring Andy Dick)
-"Life with Bonnie," a family comedy starring Bonnie Hunt
-"Meds," a one-hour medical drama that is supposed to mix comedy/drama similar to the way "M-A-S-H" did long ago.
-"Push, Nevada," a drama the network compares to "Twin Peaks." Developed by Ben Affleck, it offers clues to a puzzle that viewers can solve to win money.

What do you think of the new shows for ABC? Do you think it will help ABC climb out of the rating hole it recently dropped into?![]()

So this fall, Dinotopia versus Friends, Survivor 5 Thailand, WWE Smackdown and whatever Fox decides to place in that slot.... Well, I hope that Dinotopia is going to enjoy its short run.....
I am glad to see Monday Night Football coming back
Plus I think Dragnet has a chance, especially if they promote it with the Monday Night Football Fans...
As for moving the Drew Carey Show and Whose Line is it Anyways.... Good luck competing with Fear Factor and The King of Queens/Yes, Dear, and 7th Heaven. Well, maybe ABC will have to do some rescheduling shortly after the season starts...

I'm a Friends fan but I kinda think the series has just about run its course. I would get a kick out of it if the Dinos ate Friends for lunch.
If they can pull anything off as quality as MASH then I would tune in.
What ABC needs is a superhero like Smallville.Jonathan Telfer<br />jonathan@mouseinfo.com

Well for me "Dino's" beats "Friends", but nobody beats "Everybody loves Raymond". They need a show like this in the line-up.
The only other show that sounds interesting is "Push, Nevada". I might give the show with Katy Sagal and John Ritter a look though. But it doesn't sound like my kind of show.
I hate to admit this but I love the shows on hgtv and shows like that on some of the other channels. There aren't to many sitcoms I like anymore. I do like Monday nights on CBS- "Yes, Dear" and "ELRaymond". But the rest can go.

When the TV isn't set on Friends, ER, Smallville, or Enterprise then it is either hgtv or the travel chan. depends who has the remote. I think Extreme Homes is a kick and enjoy any show that has that crazy chick from Girl meets Hawaii. She is just wacky.Originally posted by sman 195

To me, the shows on ABC have gone downhill. The only show I watch on it now (or not even now) is the Bachelor. There is always something better on another network at all other times.
