    The real life teacher of this movie was the supervisor for my English teacher and my English teacher said this movie got a lot of facts wrong and didn't depict good.

    I am sure that they made things different in some ways for the film, but Erin Gruwell (the actual teacher) is promoting the movie with Hilary Swank all over the place. So, she must support it to some degree.
