I think they should take Aladdin out and put Toy Story in there.

I liked Snow White.

I think I prefer the more traditional musicals. The problem with Nemo and probably Toy Story is they lack the human element.

So when would the rebuild of the Fantasyland Theatre begin?

I loved Snow White. I think it would have been even better if the theater was enclosed.

But I'm all for the Toy Story Musical. And like Dlfreak said those characters are always swamped and I don't think even after 3 movies, and two rides that people will get sick of them.

It's a new era for Disney. Yes, the classics will always be there but with the help of Pixar we are now seeing new beloved character that have the staying power like the classics.

That hasn't been proven. Not by a long shot.

Well, I'm kind of with Pinoch on this one. While the Pixar characters are highly popular, and have brought the company lots of success, I think it is going to be truly a test of time before we see whether these characters become 'classics' alongside the 'classics' we know of from Walt's era and the 90's. Again, it is really open somewhat to personal interpretation. While some see the Pixar success as a new era for Disney, others see it as a great era for Pixar themselves, yet from Disney and the FA studio in burbank, we have yet to see a real renaissance since the mid to late 90's. Again, it comes down to that debate about those who see Pixar as 'Disney', and those that don't.
Not saying anyone in particular is right or wrong though.

Toy Story came out 1995.

That's only three years after Aladdin which to many is an undeniable classic. Lion King came out in 1994, one year earlier. Sorry guys, they are here to stay.

again, I have no problem with the pixar family of characters. I don't connect to them personally on the same level as I do the 'Disney' characters (well, at least some), but overall I personally don't know if I would consider them true "classic disney characters" in the same sense as the rest quite yet. For me, it will be a test of time.
I do feel the Toy Story family of characters and the Finding Nemo family of characters are there already-almost. The Monsters Inc. characters would be next on my list (though that is my all time favorite Pixar film).

I don't consider those classics. Not yet anyway.

Maybe it's the film buff in me that hates to see the word classic thrown around. Very few films achieve classic status and it always takes quite a few years.

If the Pixar characters are still popular in 30 or 40 years, then they will be classics.
