Here's my review of Iron Man. I went and saw it this past Saturday.
It was an excellent movie. It was fairly well balanced between the effects and the story, ie. the special effects did not overwhelm the movie. The best thing about the movie is Robert Downey's acting. He made the movie. Regardless of his personal transgressions, he is an excellent actor. He played Tony Stark perfectly in my opinion. Jeff Bridges was good as the bad guy and Gweneth Paltrow did pretty good as Pepper Potts, but their roles were not well 'fleshed out'(probably in the interest of time/pacing) I would definitely see it again. If you do go, make sure you stay through the end credits.

I hear great things about it, and everyone I know thought it was great (one said it was OK), but I just have no desire to see it. I'm sure if I go I will enjoy it, but I'd rather chill with homies somewhere else, yo. *throws up peace sign*

This was one of the few movies I plan on seeing a second time at the theater. It was almost as if the Tony Stark character was created just for Robert Downey Jr.

I think Robert Downey, Jr. is pretty amazing in every character that he plays. Unfortunately, his abuse problems (of the past) has given us a lot less films for the general population. A good portion of the population appreciates his great talent, but a lot of the audience doesn't have a clue. He IS Iron Man

My husband really enjoyed this movie. He has seen it twice. Once with a friend and the next with our 8 year old son. I hope to see it also!

For those who like Downey Junior, you should check out the trailer for 'Tropic Thunder' coming out in August. Downey looks hillarious in it.

I'm tempted to see it again tomorrow. I have some reservations about Indy...

Um, hello.... This might be my most favorite action hero movie EVER! Saw it after Indy and enjoyed every minute of it. I can't wait for IM2 with Samuel.
