Hey! (
I just read in the newspaper today (in an article about Brother Bear...) that Tarzan will open on Broadway in 2005...
I was written that Phil Collins has been asked to write the music for Brother Bear and blah blah blah about Brother Bear and Phil Collins said "...They asked me to write the songs and the music of the musical Tarzan that should open on Broadway in 2005..."
I thought it was just a rumor.... but it seems that, like it or not, Tarzan will definilty go to Broadway...

Re: Tarzan goes to Broadway
Although Tarzan isn't a favorite Disney movie of mine, I think it'll be pretty cool on broadway. But the characters in the movie only actually sing two songs, I wonder how they'll work that out. Anyway, if it's the same set designer as Aida, it'll be worth the money just to see the sets!
I really hope they bring the Hunchback show to broadway(although i didnt care for that movie either). I always loved the one in MGM, we saw it on every trip down there."And for performing with 'Magic Music Days'.....you get a one size fits no-one t-shirt!" --A Disney CM

I was thinking a full stage production of The Fox and the Hound would be entertaining. Perhaps they could even get Correy Feldman to reprise his role?
