Just saw Tron today and just have to say I loved it!!! The best movie I've seen this year. I thought the storyline was actually pretty good. And I think it was smart for them to not end everything so there can be future movies. The effects were spectaular. The best I've ever seen. I also liked the characters. Throughout the movie, I kept on thinking that Kevin Flynn was like Obi Wan Kenobi and Sam as Luke. I don't know if it was intentional or just by accident, but I found that they referenced Star Wars and Indiana Jones multiple times.

Once again, I loved this movie. It's probably in my top 10 of greatest movies of all time.

Wanted to go see this on New Years Eve, but couldn't talk wife or daughter into going. I had to go alone.

I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised by a really pretty good movie. Not like, OMG, best movine of the year I have to see it again. Of course, the best movie of the year was Toy Story 3... duh. Tron is no TS3, but it was good.

As credits rolled, I thought, too bad my wife didn't come. She probably would have enjoyed it. Then the lady behind me says "That was a really bad movie". Hmmmmm. Guess it isn't for everyone.

I still stand by this is a movie that kids really really love. It felt like all the fantasy movies I used to love as a kid and would re-live by playing make-believe. This movie is not doing gangbusters at the box office but it will make bank in merchandise and DVD/Blu-ray sales.

Apparently DVD and Blu-Ray sales are looking really good. Hope the TRON 3 gets started soon.
