Nice comments from these two! I wonder what the first movie will be?Steven Spielberg said, "Disney is the birthplace of imagination and has always been as close to the worldwide audience as any company ever has. I am so pleased that industry leaders like Bob Iger and Dick Cook reached out to become our distribution partner. This is a major step forward for us and Reliance."
Stacey Snider added, "Under Bob Iger and Dick Cook's leadership, The Walt Disney Company represents the highest standard of quality in our industry. Everyone at DreamWorks is thrilled to be embarking upon this new and exciting partnership and we look forward to our future with their great team."
Also, I'm kind of wondering what Katzenburg thinks of this?

That is a good point. Walt Disney Studios will now exclusively distribute films created by DreamWorks Studios until 2016, but technologically Disney Studios is still competing for box office gold against DreamWorks Animation SKG, which is under an exclusive destruction deal with Paramount Pictures, a Viacom Company.
It's obvious DreamWorks Studios and DreamWorks Animation won't mind consulting with each other and lending advice with one another. The creative artists don't care or worry about this competitive nature only in the minds of the executives up top.
Just as a note, both DreamWorks Studios and DreamWorks Animation SKG are independent companies (DreamWorks Strudios being privately owned and DreamWorks Animation SKG being publicly traded on NYSE as "DWA"). Reuters UK is reporting that "DreamWorks Studios is Spielberg's newly created production unit, and is separate from listed DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc or the DreamWorks SKG Inc private firm that Spielberg founded with media moguls David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg." I don't know how accurate that is seeing how other news outlets are labeling the company with its signature "SKG."Fabio (MagicWDI) | Cinderella is my favorite!

^Spielberg has Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn right now. But Lincoln could happen after that....he's been thinking about it long enough.

I'm pretty sure the first TinTin film is being helmed by Peter Jackson.
