So, I finally got around to watching the movie, and ended up leaving early because I was bored. The writing was awful, the acting worse. It was a crap movie.

I went to see it on Thursday and overall I was entertained/not bored.
It probably has to do with the fact that I went in with low expectations and I enjoyed it more than the first film because of the improved special effects.

My two daughters (12 and 14) and my wife have now all seen the movie twice and of course they love it. (they have also read all the books at least twice).

For me it was not a waste of 2 hours but not worth seeing again in the theartre. I will probably watch it on DVD (as I know it will be bought by one of them).

Morbid curiosity might get the better of me with this one. It seems to be a "Transformers 2" type movie in that it's so bad, you just HAVE to see it. I ALMOST saw this instead of The Blind Side but couldn't work up the nerve to buy a ticket to it, lol.
