I heard what he had to say on cnn.com and while I agree, let that stuff come naturally, friend. My beef isn't what he did, it was how crappy the whole thing was...honestly, male/female...do what you have to do...but that whole kissing the piano player was just PAINFUL to watch. It was so UGLY and FORCED.

Really?! I thought she was extremely impressive! I was amazed at her voice...while the song may have been dull, and her speech contrived, I thought her voice was spot on (and not lip synched!).

yeah her voice was good, maybe it was just the song that was horrible boring. I loved her speach though.

The song was just so slow...but from what I understand, a lot of the songs have to do with her marriage and addiction...

"I Didn't Know My Own Strength" has definitely grown on me. Perfect song for Whitney to perform that night...it is basically her story right now.
I do have to say that the voice is not what it once was (the drugs)...but she is slowly getting better, and she did her thing that night. One of her best performances in a long time.
Through it all, I've got to hand it to her - she didn't give up. She came back, with honesty...that's what you call a true "comeback".
