Thanks for the quote AND the link. Very much appreciated! Sounds like good news all around. Seems like Rapunzel--Tangled--is a winner!

Hooray! Tangled is a box office success. I think second place of the box office is close enough. I can't wait to see it next week. And Harry Potter too.

...followed by Megamind in a distant third... a pattern has hewed closely to Chicken Little among past similar titles.

Company Town: 'Tangled' opens to estimated $69 million - latimes.com

Great news all around! Generated $69 million in the 5-day Thanksgiving period (despite Potter just coming out), and also is the first movie this year to get an A+ average audience rating from CinemaScore. I'd say things are looking up for WDAS.

It's a shame the pipeline is so bare, with nothing but Pooh on the horizon for the foreseeable future. I really don't think Disney expected anyone to go see this movie.

haha, nice pun. But I must agree, their slate is pretty much a question mark beyond Pooh. All that is known for now is rumors. Hopefully we'll get some "official" in the coming months.
    whats up!

Tangled is now officially the biggest animated opening ever for a WDAS movie.

So Disney should stop making princess movies & musicals, huh? Bet this is gonna make them rethink that.

I'm sure it will (though I think that was a bit of a beat-up anyway), but I'm sure it's also going to have a lot of marketing people patting themselves on the back for the name change and emphasis on Flynn in the previews.
