It'll probably be like Princess and the Frog in NYC and LA for 2 weeks before opening nationwide.

I don't believe Cheno was fired - IIRC, the incarnation of the story she was involved with was completely different from what the movie has become. My guess is that the needs for the role changed and they were no longer suited to Cheno's extremely unique talents. She's got 3 more Tinker Bell films to record after all.

Mods, please rename this thread "As Yet Untitled Movie That Definitely Is Not About A Princess in 3D, Opens November 24, 2010". If there are any little boys here, we don't want them to not buy tickets when it comes out.

Wait - never mind. Everybody and their mother will be seeing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, Part I instead.

    Get a calendar, Disney.

Truest....statement....ever. It's not the title that's inherently the problem....it's their ridiculous ignorance when it comes to scheduling release dates. HP7P1 is a DIRECT competitor to any of Disney's movies whether analysts recognize that or not. Releasing this film so close to Mr. Potter is just plain stupid if they're looking for a turnaround in box office numbers.

Tangled? Of all the titles they could have come up with, and they went with Tangled?

    Ugh.
Yes, our world has indeed become a world of motion. We have engineered marvels that take us swiftly over land and sea, through the air, and into space itself. And still bolder and better ideas are yet to come. Ideas that will fulfill our age old dream to be free. Free in mind. Free in spirit. Free to follow the distant star of our ancestors to a brighter tomorrow. - World of Motion (1982-1996)

Tangled? really? The only thing worse than that title would placing it up against Harry Potter --- oh wait...

why don't they just cut to the chase and choose "Please ignore this movie" as the title.
