I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive. If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."

They could have Boo all grown up and with a daughter of her own - Boo2.

That would be cute! Or maybe Boo is in Kindergarten so she can speak words and help save the day somehow haha. I'm excited to hear that, I love the first Monsters Inc and they did a good job with Toy Story 2 so I'm sure this one will be good too.

Well that is some great news! Now I hope the next will be The Incredibles 2. If any of Pixar's movies says sequel it is that one.

So, suddenly Pixar's gone from the most original studio in Hollywood to...the king of sequels. Seriously, is NO ONE else bothered by this? Toy Story 3 makes perfect sense just to round out the trilogy, and an Incredibles sequel makes perfect sense just because super hero sequels happen all the time anyways, but...WHY MONSTERS INC??? Why? I don't get it. I don't get it at all. First of all, a sequel flat out RUINS the ambiguity of the ending, something you NEVER see in animated films...like ever. Secondly, I mean god, this is going to be Pixar's third sequel in as many years. Cars 2 was bad enough, but at least from a marketing standpoint that made sense. Making a Monsters Inc. 2 just REALLY means Pixar is officially milking itself.
Ladies and gentlemen, I think we might just be witnessing Pixar's imminent fall from glory. They're still one of the most high quality studios in Hollywood, but with SEQUELS for the next three years, they've ceased to be the most original.

Maybe now WDW can build their roller coaster.
I'm a little bummed about this - I think MI stands on its own quite well. Love the ending. I still can't believe that the Incredibles haven't returned, as others have mentioned.Jaleel White does not approve.

Why why why?!?!?!
Pixar always said "we don't make sequels, we make good original stories" (Toy Story does not count, they were "forced" by Disney).
WHY do they start making sequels to everything now?! There is no need for it. Mark my words, this means the downfall of Pixar. Every year 1 new original movie made Pixar special. Now they start making sequels, opening the Canada studio and such, Pixar won't be so special anymore...
Cars 2 was bad, but Monsters, Inc. 2? WHHHHYYYYY???
It's all about the money...Temper Temper...

I've always thought that by its nature that The Incedibles would warrant a sequel...
But, of all the films, Cars? and now Monsters Inc? Where can we go with Monsters Inc? Kids aren't laughing more? Mr. Waternoose escapes and wants revenge?
Boo has grown up, ended up in an insane asylum due to her adventures with Mike and Sully, has escaped, crossed over into the monster world, and is now trying to kill Mike and Sully for destroying her life?
I can see no other way to have a sequel to this other than turning it into a slasher horror film. I can't wait!Pura Vida
