    Jurassic Park IV in development

    Director Joe Johnston gave another Jurassic Park IV update:

    "We are in discussions about Jurassic Park IV. The most important thing I can tell you is that it starts a new trilogy that will go off in a different direction - a completely different direction that is very exciting, and different from anything we've seen. It starts with the history of the first trilogy, but it spins it off in a completely different direction. That's all I can tell you."

    As long as it's as good as the first two. They are two of my favorite movies. The third one, however, was just horrendous. I hope they have John Williams doing the score again. He is an absolute genius and I don't think the movies would've been as good if they had someone else doing the scores.

    It would be nice if they did something fresh and creative, but I don't like the similarites to Star Wars. Plus, what in the world could they POSSIBLY do?

    Jurassic Park was a great movie, a great Michael Crichton book. The rest just paled in comparison.
