Pixar VS Disney

I wanted topost a poll to get a idea of how many people think Pixar will stay or walk from Disney.
I understand there is already a Pixar thread out there,but I do not know how to create a poll for a exsisting thread,so im making a new one,sorry if that bothers anyone.

I think Pixar deserves alot,but majority of the profits? no.
yes Pixar makes the movie,but Disney foots the bill for it,I dont think its fair to just hand Pixar all this money to make a film so they can reap all the profits.do you?
and your right,if Disney loses Pixar I dont think Eisner will be around for much longer.
Id love to see Disney buy Pixar,and put Steve Jobs as President (replacing wells) of the new Disney/Pixar.

Why doesn't Pixar deserve a majority of the profits? Doesn't take a genius to throw money at a project.

It takes talent to create wonderful stories and make them into masterpieces. Pixar does everything... they deserve most (if not all).

I never said it took a genious to throw money at a project,but being Disney is footing most of the bill,dont you think they deserve some of the profits too?
Im not denying that the artists and story guys at Pixar are talented people,they are amazing,I think Lasseter is the closest thing to Walt ive seen in terms of ability to tell a good story.However Disney does give Pixar the money to make these films,and they do deserve a good chunk of the profits.

Pixar can finance its own films. Yeah, Disney should get some of the money, but not half. Pixar does the work, they should get the profits. Disney can keep the distribution fee.

so your saying Disney should throw crazy money at Pixar so they can break even by gettin thier distribution fees back? I dont think thats fair either,I think Pixar should get more then Disney but not majority.Part of the success of these Pixar films is Disneys cross-marketting in the theme parks etc.
Im curious to see how the Incredibles will do,the whole super hero thing doenst intrique me as much as the concept for Nemo or Bugs life,but we will have to wait and see.Its a matter of time before Pixar gets a "flop" film,they cant go on like this forever,Pixar is going through exactly what Disney went through in the early 90s when it was on a roll with its animated musicals.

You misunderstood me again.

I'm saying that Pixar hardly needs Disney. They can produce their own films and just have Disney release them under the Disney name. Thus, Disney doesn't deserve much.

Pixar can license the usage of its characters to the park still.

Its a matter of time before Pixar gets a "flop" film,they cant go on like this forever
