Is anyone going to Destination D?

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, I looked around but couldn't think of a better place to put it since it's technically at the DLR. :)

I'm gonna be going to the event but since I live so close, I won't be staying at the hotel. I was just wondering if anyone else on these boards is going? I haven't met any of you but it might be a good time to change that. Plus maybe we can hold seats if we have a bathroom emergency!

Not sure if tickets are still for sale for the event, but the schedule has been posted:

I think the real I love theme so much is because they remind of of the 90's (when I was growing up) so what do you guys think of these new walls? Also which Construction walls are you favorite???

Parking during Halloween Time?

Just reread Al Lutz last article and he was talking about how this summer the amount of parking has been getting close to full and we all remember last year how it got at Halloween time (super crowded)
He also said that Double the amount of "Special" event tickets are being sold this year for the event held at Disneyland plus Woc will bring people in.
soooo my question is how/where do people park when it gets too crowded at the two Parking Lots?

Do you think the amount of AP's will go down this year?

I was just thinking...almost everyone I know is not renewing their AP's this year. The reason they got their AP last year was because of the cost with their Birthday ticket. And now it is too expensive to get an AP. Do you think the number of AP's will go down this year?

I have one free WOC party ticket to give away to one lucky Mouse Info member. MUST beable to meet me at the ticket boths at Disneyland at 4pm on Friday Sept 10th. The party is 4pm to 1am. I will be with my familly so once I give the ticket to you, unfortunately you are on your own. The person with the best poem why they want to go will be picked. Poems can be short and sweet or as long as they want. I will pick a winner at 7pm on Thursday.... Let the poem writing begin!!!!

Duffy the Disney Bear Making Big New Debut at DCA for AP Holders

Meet the Bear-y Newest Member of the Disney Character Family! September 19th Disneyland® Resort Annual Passholders are invited to be among the first to hear the story of Duffy the Disney Bear before he arrives in Disney California Adventure™ park in the Fall. Annual Passholders attending this limited engagement will not only get to hear the story of Duffy the Disney Bear, but will also learn more about Duffy the Disney Bear’s journey and get the inside scoop on when he will debut as the bear-y newest member of the Disney Character Family.

This experience will take place on Sunday, September 19 at 11:30 am and 2:00 pm in Stage 17 at Disney California Adventure™ park.

Registration to attend this special preview will begin on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 8 AM (Pacific) via The Art of Disney Parks. Space is limited. Find out more, including FAQ’s about the presentation at ArtofDisneyParks.com or Disneyland.com/AP.

Beginning October 8, the interactive, digital world of “TRON: Legacy” will light up Hollywood Pictures Backlot as we gear up for the film’s release on December 17. This will be a cool opportunity to peek inside the world of this movie, and it’s available only to visitors of Disney California Adventure park.

It’s an “electrifying” experience for the entire family, filled with music, lights and some of your favorite food and beverage, all set amidst the captivating world of “TRON: Legacy!” From a dazzling dance club under the stars to an authentic recreation of Flynn’s Arcade to some radical gaming, it’s like nowhere else on the grid! ElecTRONica is “the” place to dance the night away in a fantastic world that only Disney can create. Does Disney every do any 2fer or SoCal ticket discounts in the fall? We bought 2-fer tickets in the spring and it was such an amazing deal. I was just wondering if there was the same thing now, or something similar at least.
