Adding Pictures to Post

Hello,

I'm sorry if I put this in the wrong spot. How do you add pictures so that they appear automatically in a post? I tried clicking on the image button and then on the tab that says "from URL" but it tells me "invalid URL." I also tried typing [IMG]link[/IMG] and it just shows a tiny box with a broken piece of paper. I'm trying to post photos from my flickr page. Thank you.

Sounds like you're using a broken piece of code. The code that goes intebetween the IMG tags should jsut be http://sitename.com/remainingurl I'm not familiar with Flickr but they might supply you with code that already has image code with in it. Try to grab a code that is JUST a URL that ends with either .jpg or .png or .gif

I looked through Flickr for a code like you said and found it, yay! I will post instructions below for those who use Flickr:

1. Click on a photo from your photostream.
2. Click on Share (next to the actions button that is above the photo)
3. Click on grab the HTML/BBCode (I used HTML)
4. Copy it then paste it onto your post.

Glad you figured it out! Thanks for sharing your pictures! You can also upload images to your gallery here on MouseInfo too! mouseinfo.com/gallery and use the camera icon above the REPLY window to automatically insert your uplaoded photos straight into a post without having to paste or use any coding!
