character meal prices for evening dinner...

Can anyone help? Have been told that evening one atthe Enchanted room at Disneyland Hotel is HK$488 + 10% per adult over the NY time....wow, that is more than $80 aussie just for a meal.....

USA prices weren;t like that but I thought i would ask.

We ate at the Enchanted Garden in November 2006. If I remember correctly, it was HKD$450 plus 10%. If you have an annual pass, I believe you get 20% off.

It is expensive, but the food is beautifully presented & of excellent quality. Our party felt it was comparable to buffets found at other Hong Kong hotels - standards are generally rather high.

Also, the characters (although there were only 4 for the evening) came by several times through our meal, so we had plenty of opportunities for pictures & for the kids to play with them.

Money well spent. Will definitely go back for a meal.

No characters at lunch time ... only breakfast & dinner.

Breakfast is a cheaper (but still good) option - excellent spread as well. When we went in the morning, Mickey, Pluto (complete with Chef's hat), Daisy & Goofy were there.

At dinner, it was Mickey, Minnie, Pluto & Goofy.
