living alone

any young women out there living alone? I myself am most likely going to move out on my own, but not sure about living alone...do you like it? is it a good thing? any thoughts would be appreciated...

I used to live alone for a long time and it was great. I really enjoyed it. You get to decorate as you like. When you come home, it's very peaceful and you dont have to deal with anybody asking you to do stuff or asking questions when you just want to relax. You can watch whatever you want on TV without having to negotiate. You can have guests over whenever you please and whoever you please. I found it very peaceful and relaxing. I would reccomend it.

Negative points would be that sometimes if I heard noises at night I would get scared being alone. You might get lonely at times.

I don't live alone (yet), but my aunt is fifty-something and lives alone, and looks very young and is healthy, and her tagline is "Life is good". She golfs all the time, teaches, and is able to go everywhere and own condos in Palm Springs and an apartment building and home in Long Beach where she lives. Which I doubt would happen if she was married. If you're afraid of something at night, I suggest getting a dog.
