The All-Purpose Apple/Mac/Pod Thread

My brother's computer has a TV Tuner, so we can record shows for free and then kick them over to iTunes. The files end up only around 775MB and good quality. I wouldn't buy an episode of Lost on iTunes only because I'm collecting the DVD sets.

BTW, I love watching jaysaugus' Remember video from iTunes. Don't know why. I just think it's really cool in that tiny album cover screen.

ok, I have had my ibook for 6 months and all the "white"on the screen of my picture is turning aqua color. I will just die if it is the mid-plane again. my imacG5 did the same thing after 2 months!!! I have spent over 6 grad on
apple, cant I have something work for me?

Apple Computer is once again gathering the press together as it rolls out new innovations. The latest invitation-only event will be held in New York City on October 19, 2005 on the eve of PhotoPlus Expo. Apple doesn't say exactly what the press conference will be about, but the invitation sent to MacCentral asks to join them as "we unveil Apple's latest pro innovations."

This will be the third special product focused event that Apple has held in just over a month. On September 7, Apple launched the iPod nano and just this week they unveiled the video iPod and new iMac.

The event was previously rumored for release of updates to the Power Mac and Powerbook lines.
