Here is an interesting tidbit, from the Las Vegas Advisor's April 2003 issue.
http://www.lasvegasadvisor.com/
Circus Circus’ Adventuredome amusement park logged the largest percentage gain in attendance of all major North American amusement parks in 2002. Its 4.5 million attendees, a 21% increase over 2001, ranked Adventuredome 11th nationwide and 19th worldwide. Adventuredome is the largest indoor amusement park in the U.S., with the world’s only indoor double-loop corkscrew roller coaster, and now boasts 24 rides, most of them for small children.
So, if trends continue, the Adventuredome will overtake DCA and Sea World Orlando to end up near Universal Studios Hollywood in attendance in 2003 (8th place). And might get a even bigger boost, since it is rumored that Wet and Wild will close (to be replaced by more hotel rooms, and the Voyager Giant Ferris Wheel). If this happens, expect to see an additional boost in the Adventuredome attendance, as families look for something else for their kids to do.

I will never understand why people go into that thing....the last time I went to the Adventuredome it was nothing.....very boring, very ghetto, very expensive.

Let's see, a full day admission including unlimited rides is just $19.95, and you can easily find coupons to lower that a few dollars...

Canyon Blaster is a great roller coaster.
Rim Runner is a great water ride, if you want to get wet!
They also offer two IMAX ridefilms, Fun House Express and Reboot: The Ride, which offers a state of the art motion system.
Plus many rides you would find at Flik's Fun Fair, like bumper cars, Drifters and Miner Mike.
Now, it is not the biggest park in the world, and I wouldn't call it a full day park...
But it is not very expensive, and a great way to get out of the summer heat of the desert into an air conditioned area for a few hours of fun.Check out my photos at http://darkbeer.smugmug.com

Eh, I guess I just maximize my Vegas fun while I'm there, not hitting up the "amusement parks". Plus, we never venture down to the scary end of The Strip.

It was either Circus Circus or Buffalo Bills. Lets see 220 ft drop no loops or 50 ft drop and couple of loops, hmmmm. Obviously I went with BB and rode Desperado, because that ride at CC is tiny, and compact. But I'd like to go there some day if I ever go to Vegas again.

Here is my opinion on the Adventure Dome.
The Good
-Nice, compact arrow looper. Not too intense but fun (and no wait whenever i go)
-Nice flume ride if u want too get wet, too long of a wait for what it is.
-The Inverter!
-The two IMAX rides.
The Bad
-Needs better falt rides.
-The themeing on the flume ride. I know its no disneyland but it could use a little theme.
-Is it just me or doe sthe whole place smell like barf?
The Ugly
-THE HUGE PINK DOME. I know Circus Circus's main color is pink but come on.
-It seems kinda trash to me. I dont know why but its just kinda Blah!
