Going into tonight's game, I was ahead of Cinder and have 3 players. Now, after 2 Hasselbeck interceptions, I'm down about 4. If I lose this one, I might have to make a deal involving my soul.

Well, lets see, If Deion Branch and Ahman Green score 3 toucdowns each and gain about 150 yards AND Josh Brown kicks 2 Field Goals over 50yards, then yes, he has a chance....

I have found it to be really strange rooting for teams based on my fantasy football lineups...


I find I really could care less who wins.
I really could care less about the score, in fact if the game ends up 235 to 210 as long as my QB scores 28 TDs its all good.
for my kicker I hope his team is horrible in the red zone, so he can kick FG after FG.

its just odd, then if you get 2 guys on opposit teams playing each other, but they are both on your team you hope they get al the action...

in fact i was secretly hoping TO would get hurt so that romo would have to go to Glenn more.

I also found I dont want Barber to run for a TD because if he gets 3 yards and 2 TDs by catch, I get double to points. romo to barber.

then trying to explain all this to my lovely wife that could care less about football anyhow....

the one group that must LOVE fantasy fotball is the NFL... i have been watching games i may never have watched but for this fantasy stuff.

I totally agree! There are certain teams I just don't like, but I find myself rooting for them! I think fantasy football is making Sunday more fun for me/us!

Agreed OC. I used to only be focused on the Cowboys...and maybe the Eagles, Giants and Redskins.

Now I know the injury status of some 3rd tier wide-receiver on the Cleveland Browns (a team I honestly forget actually exists every year).

It's fun, but amazing how much useless football knowledge one can accumulate from playing on a fantasy football team.
