I (and my wife) have noticed the same thing. As Cardinals fans we were conditioned to hate all Dallas teams and fans with a passion, now I find myself holding and rooting for Dallas players(altho I ditched Bledsoe
)
The same goes for Denver. The kicker thing is spot on. You want a kicker on a middling team. Not so good that he never kicks field goals or so bad that he can't get close enough.

Does anyone else feel extremely bad for Favre? They said 7 picks in 10 games, three tonight.

Ahh Vanderjagt. We hardly knew ye.
Thankfully we signed someone just as inconsistent, but without that pesky "Most Accurate Kicker in the History of the NFL" thing. Nice job, Mr. Jerry Jones!2011-12 MI Fantasy Football Team: Burning Sensation

Yeah, I was a little worried there at halftime. I had a basketball game to play in so I left at the half down 4 or 5 wondering how in the world this was happening. I guess he came around in the second half for me though.
As for your other notes, I pay a lot more attention to football and stats and everything and it makes Sundays a lot more fun paying attention to football than if I was just watching a game. I'm more into it. Thanks for the fun everyone. On that note, most of you playing keep me quite entertained here on MI. I don't post a lot but I'm on here reading threads quite a bit. I found myself laughing out loud at some of the crap you guys put on here (nut thread is a prime example). Anyway, good work.
As for Favre, I now wish he would have given it up last year. Just so he could have gone out somewhat on top. I don't know how hard that would be for him but the Packers definitely aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

What's sad is that Favre is going to go down (retire) in a bad light, and the younger kids are not going to remember Favre for what he WAS. I admire the man, and his tenacity, but I start to wonder if greed fueled his continued returns (a Super Bowl ring). It sucks, I have a friend on the Packers, and watching this team perform this way is just HORRIBLE.
