Well, an arrest isn't a conviction, and a confession isn't necessarily proof.

The guy is clearly a whacko... but is he the one that really did the kid in?

I think this case is going to live in infamy forever. Like the Black Dahlia.

It comes down to DNA.

I totally agree with you, M-Diddy. There are so many things that point to him just being a nut job, and not having done it, however there are things that do...like, for instance, him giving the police details regarding her body that had never been made public before.



BUT, when they asked Mr. Ramsey if he knew the guy, or had ever seen him, he said no. And remember, on the ransom note, the murderer repeatedly called Mr. Ramsey by name, and knew details about his personal life.....so...........

If he is just a nut-job, I still say there is no place on earth for an animal like this. He is a child molester regardless of the outcome of this particular case. A very sick individual .

If he was obsessed with the case, and put himself in the shoes of the killer, that means he is not only a pathological liar, but a sexual predator to boot.

What's the Black Dahlia?...

Probably the most creepy unsolved murder in LA... I would post a link but it always brings up very graphic pics. Her name was Beth Short, and she was last seen at the Biltmore hotel, with an unknown gentleman... January, 1947. She was an actress wannabe, had all kinds of personal problems, etc. etc. They never solved it... and probably never will.

And BTW... about 50 different sickos confessed to doing it.

And adding to my freaked out ness over this.. they jut announced that they searched Richard Allen Davis' cell at San Quentin... he's the monster that kidnapped and killed Polly Klass. Sounds like the two of them were corresponding.

Yes. This guy lived like three blocks from Polly Klass and was apparently fascinated with the case and wanted to write a book about Davis. Weird.
