It's true! The highlight of the summer in the early 80s was the Banana Ball, a blowout party hosted by Jungle Cruise ride ops. It was held at the OC Fairgrounds. They would rent out an exhibition hall, hire bands and/or djs (I don't remember), back in a beer truck or two, and revelry would ensue. Hawaiian dress was de rigueur. By the end of the night, the floor—as well as everyone else, it seemed—was covered in beer.

Honestly, I was scared to go my first few summers. I finally went my third summer and had a blast. I went the next year, too.

Lets just say that this summer, I coudl've been a spokesmen for Mickey's. So many good times.

Embarassing times for me is always ending up on bathroom floors. Sleeping. Right next to the toilet. Plethora of pics taken.

I'm drunk right now, so I thought I might post!

Not too many embarassing stories thankfully. I do remember once going to sleep on a compost heap at a party when I was drunk... well, it was soft and warm, so it seemed like a logical thing to do!

The worst drunken aftermath was when I was working at the Disney Store and had been to the party of one of my co-workers (I was the only Disney person there) and had to get up with about 1 hour sleep to start work in the morning. I remember, ahem, throwing up into the flower beds down the road from the store, covering the Mickey on my shirt in a vain attempt to stop people from knowing where I worked. Then, after stocking the shelves for an hour or so, my first guest of the day had an overpowering aftershave on. Well, after serving him I went 'backstage' and orally expelled all of the water I had drunk during the morning and then asked the manager if I could leave to go to the bathroom. When I came back, someone was mopping up the 'water' and I apologised for spilling some water earlier on. I don't know to this day if they knew I'd really been sick, but needless to say it was a fun day at work.
