    Talking Who Watched the Buffy Series Finale?

    Did anyone here watch the series finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on UPN tonight? What did you think of it? I was so sad because...

    I think it was okay. I seemed rushed and ended too soon. the story was great, but too short.

    That's what I think.

    It was so sad. At least Buffy is free. Oh, but Spike sacrificed himself to save the world. I miss the show already.

    Well I haven't watched Buffy in awhile, but I didn't even know it was having its Series Finale! Guess I dont watch UPN enough to see the ads.

    I saw it. I'm not a buffy fan, but it was okay. Better than the Smallville finale. What the heck was that???

    What about Dawsons Creek?? LOL! Ok I'll admit. :rolleyes: I used to watch this when it first came out religiously. I was in 6th grade I believe and it was like bad for even teenagers to watch that show then. HAha. Well its the show I grew up with and ended my senior year. I think its appropriate for it to end as I move on.

    Ok, go ahead, make fun of me for watching that lame show. Hehe, its addicting.

    I agree with you completely. I think it should have definitely been a 2-hour finale, like Dawson's Creek's was (yes, my sister watched it and... I watched it with her! ). Then, it wouldn't have been so rushed and it would be a good way of saying good bye.

    One part I liked about the finale was when Giles said "The world is definitely doomed." Didn't Giles say that in the series premier as well?

    Yep...that whole conversation part just before the battle was a homage to the series premiere.

    Now for my opinons on the Buffy finale...I'm a huge Buffy fan and I like how Joss Whedon tied up his whole feminism/girl power story arc. It was kind of clever. There were some great lines (Buffy comparing herself to cookie dough and Spike dreaming of drowning in Cool Whip are two of the highlights). But certain events (*you know what I mean*) were predictable and left me unsettled at the end of the episode. It wasn't the conclusion I thought it might be but it wasn't bad either. I guess I need to watch it again and see how I feel...it might grow on me.
