    with the whiiwheel there is a button on the back. That's how I drift. With the nunchuck, I'm sure it's the button on the back of it. But it wont work if in the beginning you set the drifting to AUTOMATIC. Make sure you pick MANUAL.

    For the longest time, being a decent racing gamer, i assumed that question was asking me if i wanted automatic or manual TRANSMISSION.

    I doubt i'm the only person who was thusly confused.

    Don't worry. The same thing happened to me. I was playing online and couldn't understand how in the hell these people are drifting. Then I noticed that the option for Auto/Manual said about drifting. If you look you actually drift on automatic. But you can't do the boost at the end of it.

    Thanks! My bad. I guess I should look at that silly little booklet inside the cover of the game sometimes huh. I knew that I was drifting automatically sometimes...but its so much better to be in control of the drift...and that mini boost is obviously a big bonus.
